- ➤ Sterling Heights has launched its first Little Free Sled Library at Delia Park near the pavilion in the north lot and will offer 30 sleds until the snow melts. The Public Library and Parks and Recreation coordinate the project (sled donations accepted) to bring free outdoor fun. WXYZ
- ➤ Michigan State Police held a one-day Security in Places of Worship training in Novi yesterday to help faith leaders plan for safety after incidents in Wayne and Grand Blanc; officials said more sessions may be offered to expand these protective measures. WXYZ

- ➤ Consumers Energy requested a $240 million rate hike for gas & Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel said her office would review the filing to block undue costs, marking the fourth consecutive year of such requests. FOX 2 Detroit
