Good morning, Sterling Heights.
The Too Good To Go app lets local restaurants sell surplus meals at steep discounts so Sterling Heights residents can save money on takeout.
Businesses like Dessert Oasis and Prime BBQ Smokehouse have joined the app to cut waste while customers get surprise meals—offers are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
After years of work, the Gordie Howe International Bridge is nearly complete with testing ongoing as it prepares to open in early 2026 linking Detroit and Windsor.
The bridge will offer six lanes of traffic and a 12 foot wide toll free path for pedestrians and cyclists—featuring community-led sound wall designs and built-in AI monitoring for safety.
Metro Detroit transit riders can now use one app — Transit — to view schedules, book rides, pay fares and receive real-time alerts following a partnership announced by the Regional Transit Authority of Southeast Michigan.
The free app serves residents of Macomb, Oakland, Washtenaw and Wayne counties.
