- ➤ Gas prices in Michigan rose by six cents since last week to an average of $3.09 per gallon—27 cents lower than at this time last year. In metro Detroit, prices dropped to $3.06 per gallon, down five cents from last week yet 37 cents lower than last year. WXYZ
