- ➤ Keurig Dr Pepper announced it will launch a limited-edition Vernors Boston Cooler this summer, mixing vanilla ice cream with their classic ginger soda from the 1800s. - ➤ Sterling Heights has been named the safest large city in Michigan for six straight years and new Police Chief Andy Satterfield, sworn in on July 14, plans to keep that record by addressing community concerns—he previously served as a police captain in Troy and will soon manage security for Sterling Fest, a three-day event expected to draw over 100,000 visitors.
