General Motors said it will move production of the Cadillac Escalade, Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra to the Orion Assembly Plant in Orion Township starting in 2027.

The move is part of a $4 billion plan to shift production from Mexico to U.S. plants—this change is expected to support more stable local jobs.

The Oakland County Sheriff warned residents that calls claiming they missed jury duty and threatening jail time for nonpayment are scams — a Farmington Hills woman almost paid $3,000 before confirming the call was fake.

The Eminem-produced documentary STANS will be shown at AMC Theatres from Aug.

7 through Aug. 10 at five metro Detroit locations including AMC Forum 30 in Sterling Heights. The film features an exclusive interview with Eminem and rare archival footage that looks at his private and public life.
