  • Keurig Dr Pepper is launching a limited-edition Vernors Boston Cooler in Michigan and the Toledo area from July through September—this new flavor pairs creamy vanilla ice cream with the iconic ginger soda that dates back to the 1800s.   • Residents of Sterling Heights are invited to enjoy new public art installations around the city that include a ribbon-cutting ceremony held on July 1 at James C.   • Today the Michigan Science Center announced that its popular dinosaur exhibition 'Tyrannosaurs — Meet the Family' is extended through August to give local families extra time to see life-size T. rex skeletons and hands-on displays. The exhibit is underwritten by Ford Philanthropy and features fossil casts, a projection tunnel, and augmented reality screens that bring prehistoric creatures to life.  WXYZ

  • Metro Detroit libraries are offering free summer programs to help kids avoid the summer slide. Farmington Community Library said it is hosting outdoor storytimes—STEM days and scavenger hunts—and families can also use free online tools like Khan Academy to keep learning at home.  WXYZ
