  • Fraser High School students celebrated the successful first year of a thrift store opened last fall to honor their late teacher—Connor McMahon, an economics teacher killed by an impaired driver on I-94 in June. The store, located in room 1301, served nearly 3,000 student shoppers and still accepts donations at the main office during school hours.  WXYZ

  • A Redfin report showed there are nearly 500,000 more sellers than buyers nationwide—but a local agent said the Metro Detroit market remains a seller’s market with fewer available homes. The agent noted rising inventory—adding more options for buyers—and advised sellers to set fair prices.  WXYZ
