  • An 11-year-old boy in Macomb County is organizing a county-wide food drive to collect 10,000 pounds of non-perishable food from June 2 to June 12.   • The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services reports Lyme disease cases have risen by 168% over the last five years, with cases increasing from 452 in 2020 to 1,215 in 2024.
