- ➤ Sterling Heights City Council approved a tax-incentive plan for redeveloping the defunct Lakeside Mall property into mixed-use space, generating $270 million for public infrastructure; the project begins in phases with the first phase planned for early 2027 (funding new housing, retail, and community spaces).
