- ➤ Eric Chung, a former Commerce Department attorney who helped draft parts of the CHIPS Act, announced his bid for Congress in Michigan's 10th District (covering southern Macomb County, Rochester and Rochester Hills) on Wednesday. He said he will draw on his local roots and government experience to fight for Michigan families and check the current administration's policies (after leaving his Commerce job following criticism of its tariffs).
