EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ High school students from Austin Catholic in Chesterfield printed a prosthetic arm to help 10-year-old Kaysen Green ride bikes and cut food, working with the e-NABLE project. The new arm gives him independence and can be adjusted as he grows (as explained by school STEAM coordinator Laura Hayden). WXYZ

- ➤ Macomb County Health Department officials confirmed the county’s first measles case in a local resident today and are notifying anyone who may have been exposed while urging unvaccinated residents to get their shots. WXYZ
- ➤ The American Lung Association report rated the region's air quality as failing after particle pollution ranking fell from 22nd to 11th nationwide—residents near industrial sites notice worsening conditions. City officials are installing new air monitors to provide real-time data and guide improvement efforts. WXYZ
