- ➤ Residents can enjoy a weekend of events from Record Store Day on April 18 at multiple sites, craft and resale shows in nearby townships, an auction in Huntington Woods, and theater performances by Novi High School and local groups. - ➤ Sterling Heights will break ground on Red Run Park on May 5 with a $4.7 million makeover planned for the southeast quadrant. GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ The Macomb County Department of Roads will resurface Mound Road from 8 Mile to slightly south of I-696 in Warren this spring or early summer using $2.5 million in state funds as a stopgap measure approved by the Warren City Council — a step toward a future full rebuild. The Detroit News
