- ➤ Gas prices across Michigan fell by 9 cents over the past week, with the average now at $3.87 per gallon and metro Detroit at $3.89. AAA Michigan noted that despite the drop drivers still pay more than last year and rising crude oil could soon push rates higher. WXYZ

- ➤ Utica Community Schools unveiled new athletic fields for softball and baseball at Stevenson, Eisenhower, and Henry Ford II high schools — with games at Stevenson Monday night and ribbon cuttings scheduled for Eisenhower today at 4 p.m. and Henry Ford II Thursday at 4 p.m. WXYZ
