- ➤ William John Kucharski Jr., a Richmond man, pleaded no contest in Romeo court on Monday and received a 63-day jail sentence for animal cruelty after authorities could not prove he killed his father's Labrador Retriever while he was ordered to undergo a mental health evaluation and faces additional charges in St. Clair County.
